Kratom isn’t a cheap purchase, and if you find that it is…well, you’re not doing yourself any favors. Cheap Kratom will be cheap for a reason; either it’s old stock, contaminated, or even not even Kratom at all! After all, you really have no way of knowing what you’re buying, and the only to be sure you are getting the real deal is to buy from a trusted vendor who has experience, reputation, and good reviews.
But don’t worry, this doesn’t mean you will have to pay through the nose to get good quality products, because there are ways to ensure that you get the best Kratom at excellent prices.
Don’t Shop Local
Usually it’s a good thing to support small, local businesses, but in this case buying online is by far the better option if you’re looking for value for money. The fact is, running a physical store is expensive – there is the cost of the rent, electricity, and all the other overheads, for example – and that cost needs to be covered. And how do vendors do that? By passing on the cost to you, the customer.
Another reason to avoid buying locally is that vendors tend to buy their stock from a distributor rather than at source, which again means that the costs of those middle men need to be met, and that usually falls to the buyer.
Talking of Middle Men
It’s not just local retailers who buy from distributors; some online vendors will also buy from a distributor so that cost will still need to be met by you, the consumer.
When you’re looking for an online retailer, choose one which states that they buy directly from the source. This is a matter of great pride for vendors who deal directly with the growers/producers so this information will be easy to find on their websites. The reason they take pride in this fact is that by buying directly from the source, they can be sure of the quality and consistency of the products, and any reputable company will employ stringent and independent lab testing to ensure that the Kratom is A1 quality from start to finish.
Bad Quality = Higher Quantity
If you choose to buy from a cheap supplier, you will, without a doubt, be buying inferior Kratom. It stands to reason; as we said before, Kratom is not cheap, and if you are getting a cheap product it will be of a lower (or even dubious) quality. There’s no consistency with cheap Kratom, and the potency will go up and down with each batch, meaning that you may find yourself burning more and more to achieve the same effects. In turn, you will find that you are using up your supply more quickly, and having to buy more frequently, which will work out to be more expensive in the end for a far inferior product.
Go Big or Go Home
Wait…you’re buying online so you’re already home, how cool is that? But the point is, when you’re buying online there are often discounts for buying in bulk, or for purchasing bundles which can include several different strains if you like variety – an opportunity which you are not likely to get buying from a local retailer. In this way, you are getting superior quality Kratom at a lower price, which you won’t need to use as much of, meaning you are saving in multiple ways.
DIY
Okay, so capsules might be easier, but you will be paying for that convenience. As with everything else, time is money, and making capsules adds onto the production time – measuring the powder, adding it to capsules, packaging…not to mention the cost of the capsule shells. And once again, all of those costs are passed on to the buyer. Buying Kratom in its raw powder form saves you from the extra costs, and measuring it out soon becomes second nature, anyway.
Loyalty Pays
Once you find a vendor you are happy with, check whether they offer a loyalty program. Different schemes work in different ways, but it could be that you get a free product for every x amount of orders, for instance, or points for every purchase will can be redeemed against future orders, but whatever form it takes, if it saves money, we’re all over it.
Extra, Extra, Read all About it!
Sign up to your chosen company’s newsletter and you will be among the first in the queue when it comes to special offers and discounts – info you may well miss, especially if you don’t frequent the website in-between purchases. These newsletters will also contain news and views from the world of Kratom, changes in laws, new products, and anything else relating to it.
Money, Money, Money…
If you are well-versed in all things Kratom, you will know that most vendors cannot accept the usual methods of payment, like PayPal or credit cards, for instance. However, if you pay by cryptocurrency, for example Bitcoin, there are no charges to the vendor, and many will pass that saving on to the buyer by way of a discount. The added bonus is that using cryptocurrency affords a high level of anonymity and security, something which is seriously lacking in the digital age.
So, now you know – there are many ways to save money when buying good quality Kratom, which will greatly enhance your experience. Buying cheap products is false economy at best, and dangerous at worst – don’t risk it!
